This document covers the Affiliate Program only. Use of the platform remains governed by the Terms of Use and by the Ethics and Responsible Use Policy.
Purpose of the program
The NicoChat Affiliate Program is intended to allow NicoChat users to recommend the system to friends, students, clients, etc., receiving commissions for successful referrals.
Eligibility
To take part in the NicoChat Affiliate Program, you must:
- Have an active NicoChat account;
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Have a PayPal account to receive commissions.
Registration and approval
The Affiliate Program sign-up process is simple. Registration is open to all qualified users. You must enter your e-mail address and choose a personalized discount coupon for your promotional activity. The name of the discount coupon will be decided by you and will be used to promote NicoChat.
Commissions and payments
Commissions are calculated according to the different affiliate programs available. Specific information on commission percentages will be provided when you access the program website.
No commissions will be paid in the event of cancellation before the commission payout period. The payment cycle may vary according to the affiliate program you are enrolled in, with specific details available on the website.
Minimum withdrawal amount: R$ 100. Amounts below that will be credited as a discount in your NicoChat account and will not be paid via PayPal.
Promotion and advertising
There are specific guidelines for promoting NicoChat:
- Running Google advertising campaigns using keywords such as “NicoChat”, “Nicola” or similar terms is prohibited;
- Discount coupons may not be advertised in the NicoChat Discord community (Marvin) or on NicoChat’s official social media.
No specific marketing materials are provided; the promotional strategy is left to each affiliate’s discretion.
Conduct policy
Practices prohibited for affiliates include:
- Self-referring the use of the discount coupon;
- Advertising the discount coupon on the Marvin server or on NicoChat’s official channels.
Termination and suspension
Failure to comply with the established rules will result in full suspension from the Affiliate Program, cancelling any pending or future payment and the link to the discount coupon. Violation of the prohibited practices listed above will result in immediate suspension from the affiliate program.
Limitation of liability
Responsibility for the manner in which the affiliate program is promoted lies exclusively with the participant. NicoChat assumes no responsibility for affiliates’ activities.
Changes to these terms
The Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions may be changed at any time. Changes will be updated on the program website, and it is the affiliate’s responsibility to review the terms periodically.
